It's dessert. It's a cocktail. It's your emotional support beverage.
This is what happens when your breakkie smoothie era grows up. It’s creamy, chocolatey, slightly dangerous, and absolutely the kind of thing you make for a "it's 5 o'clock somewhere" drink.
Perfect for girls’ nights, after-dinner drinks, or when you want something that feels fancy but requires approximately zero skill.
Ingredients (Serves 1 generous glass)
1/2 cup milk of choice
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 frozen banana
30ml Baileys Irish Cream
30ml Kahlua
1 tbsp peanut butter
Chocolate topping (to decorate glass)
Optional (but elite)
Extra drizzle of chocolate inside the glass
Crushed peanuts on the rim (dip in chocolate first so that they stick)
Whipped cream on top
Method
1. Decorate your glass by drizzling chocolate topping around the inside. Pop it in the freezer for a few minutes to set if you’re feeling organised.
2. Add to a blender: milk, ice cream, frozen strawberries, banana, Baileys, Kahlua and peanut butter.
3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
4. Pour into your chocolate-lined glass.
5, Take a sip. Pause. Nod approvingly.
Quick Notes
Want it thicker? Add more frozen banana or ice.
Want it stronger? You know what to do.
Want it alcohol-free? Skip the liqueurs and it becomes a luxe PB strawberry milkshake.
