FAQ
-
How do I store my peanut butter?
If you race through your peanut butter at a crazy pace, you can simply store the opened jar in a cool, dark space such as your pantry. Store it upside down if you feel the oils need to be distributed.
Alternatively, if consuming the contents over a longer period of time, you can store it in the refrigerator. Note: If the peanut butter solidifies from the cold, simply give it a big stir, making sure to hit the bottom of the jar with your utensil in order to get the oils and the nuts moving again.
-
How long will my peanut butter last?
If your jar is opened, we say 3-6 months. An unopened jar will last 12-18 months.
Always ensure to close the lid tightly. Too much air exposed into the jar, once opened, may cause it to go rancid faster. Also ensure that there is no double dipping. This could cause cross contamination (big no no).
-
Is your product Australian made?
YES! We source our peanuts from local farmers in sunny Queensland. They are roasted and then blended to perfection with a pinch of Australian Murray River pink salt.
-
Where is your product made?
We are a small family run business operating in the inner suburbs of Geelong, Victoria. Each jar is hand poured in our registered commercial home kitchen.
-
Is peanut butter Gluten Free?
Absolutely! The good news is all of our products are gluten free, dairy free and vegan. We make sure our products are perfect for everyone with these dietary requirements.
-
Are peanuts healthy?
Peanuts are actually legumes, not nuts. But, they are considerably higher in (healthy) fats compared to other legumes, including chickpeas, lentils, and black-eyed peas.
A serving of peanuts (20 grams) or peanut butter (two tablespoons, debatable of course) is a healthy source of protein, fat, and other nutrients.
